Meet Dr. Padilla

Although I’ve been living with my family in Naples since 2004, I enjoy this city a lot, as well as Marco Island, and Fort Myers. I’m originally from Puerto Rico, where I had lots of fun and exciting childhood memories. My family traveled from Chicago, Illinois to Puerto Rico several times during my childhood giving me the chance to experience two cultures, meet different people and gain confidence to reach any goal I would set for myself.

During my childhood I did not have “perfect teeth” and had the opportunity of having a wonderful orthodontist who inspired me to be a dentist. I attended the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, where I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Science.

I rapidly moved on to Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I obtained my Doctorate in Dental Surgery. While attending Marquette University, I did research on The Effectiveness in Bacterial Sterilization in Dental Procedures, for which I was chosen to represent Marquette University at the Orlando ADA convention and was awarded the SCADA Award (Student Clinician of The American Dental Association) on this research. While in Marquette University I also received the “Award of Operative Dentistry”, an award for The Best Skills In The Field Of Operative Dentistry.

After graduation I was fortunate to join practice with one of the pioneers in Laser Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There, I was able to enhance many of my clinical skills obtaining the Certification for The Laser Assisted Pre-cardiac Protocol, the first of its kind in the U.S.

As opportunities grew I became an associate for Dental Care Partners and shortly thereafter The Regional Dental Director for said company, administering the Milwaukee Operations of several dental offices while maintaining my ranking as one of the Top 10 Doctors.

After several years in this position I decided it was time for me to move on and start reaching my goal of having my own practice. I was then very lucky to have discovered Naples where we decided to move, establish roots and create what is now Dental Expressions.

I’m always on the move and searching to improve my clinical skills, so within the last several years I have dedicated myself to expand my knowledge and obtained advanced training on Implant Dentistry, Sedation Dentistry, Orthodontics, Bone Grafting and Pure Power Mouthguard, while progressing my knowledge on general dentistry skills and Laser Dentistry.

Family is very important for me, so in my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with them. They have been the reason behind my success. Time is very crucial for us so when we have spare moments we love to spend it with the kids and enjoy them to the fullest.

My goal is to provide my patients of Naples, Marco Island, Bonita and Fort Myers the best care, as if they were my family. I want to help them achieve their goals and let them know they have a dentist they can count on.
